Experienced Service Technician

Ruhl’s Repair is looking for an Experienced Service Technician to join our team. We are a small, family-owned business looking for someone with strong mechanical skills and experience working on outdoor power equipment who can diagnose and complete repairs with minimal training. Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, zero-turns, snow blowers, tractors, and other small-engine equipment Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues Assemble and prepare new equipment for customers Complete repairs efficiently and accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate with customers and team members regarding repairs and service needs Keep accurate records of parts, labor, and completed repairs Follow manufacturer service procedures and safety guidelines Qualifications Previous outdoor power equipment, mechanical, or small-engine experience required Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment independently Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong attention to detail Reliable, hardworking, and dependable Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a good team environment Able to work independently with minimal training Good communication and customer service skills Takes pride in doing quality work Benefits Full-time position Overtime pay after 8 hours daily Competitive pay based on experience Paid vacation Paid holidays Annual profit bonus Tool allowance Small, family-owned business environment What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, hardworking, mechanically minded, and takes pride in doing the job right .
