Our Footwear Developer helps manage all stages of the development process. Their experience is relied on to resolve issues and to develop the skills of those being supervised. The role is centered in working with Design, Development, Materials, Costing, Commercialization, Fit/wear test, Production & Asian team & factories to ensure product is developed on time. PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK THE CHALLENGE:PAGE-BREAK Your key responsibilities will include:PAGE-BREAK Manage the product development cycle to effectively deliver world-class product at the established retail introduction periods and profit margins.PAGE-BREAK Proactively manage the product development process according to the Product Introduction Calendar.PAGE-BREAK Acts as the knowledge sharing hub and the key individual in product development process.PAGE-BREAK Responsible to work w/ teams to get pattern revisions, 2D &3D revisions executed correctly to approve construction, patterns & mold manufacturingPAGE-BREAK On time delivery of all agreed upon key samples (Models, Pullovers, Development, Confirmation, Stage I & 2)PAGE-BREAK Review CBDs, yields, cost & negotiate costing to achieve a minimum target margin while, at the same time, providing value for the consumerPAGE-BREAK Coordinates the sample making of new materials, compounds and processes that are initiated by the Materials Group for wear-testing PAGE-BREAK Coordinates the sample making of new materials, compounds and processes that are initiated by the Materials Group for wear-testing PAGE-BREAK Effectively manages running development projects: able to identify, access and utilize resources outside of direct control to facilitate development objectivesPAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK THE REWARD:PAGE-BREAK This is a business like no other.
