Central Point Partners is currently seeking a Front-End Developer with expertise in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API Integration for a large client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate should have experience in AWS Lambda and serverless application development. Note: No C2C candidates – Only GC (Green Card holders) and USC (U.S. Citizens) are eligible. Hybrid role – Candidates must be local to Columbus, OH.
Key Responsibilities: Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js. Build reusable components with best practices and design patterns. Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs efficiently. Design and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda. Optimize application performance for speed and scalability. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices.
Work closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and features. Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability. Required Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of experience in front-end development with React and TypeScript. Proficiency in: React.js and its core principles TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 State management libraries (e.g., Redux) RESTful API integration and asynchronous request handling AWS Lambda and serverless development Modern front-end tools (Webpack, Babel, Git, etc.) Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with modern authentication mechanisms (e.g., JWT). Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme). Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development. Familiarity with code versioning tools (Git, SVN, Mercurial). Strong benchmarking and optimization skills.
