If that is not for you, this role is not for you.The role You will own new products end to end: from researching the next design, through product imagery and launch, to sourcing, quoting and the first stock order. You are the first stage of how this company grows.What you'll do:Research iconic and trending designs and build a pipeline of launch candidatesCreate product imagery using AI toolsSet up new products across our online store and advertising, and act fast on how they performHandle sourcing: get quotes from factories in Asia; negotiate when they're too highRun product development with our external technical team for new designs; place stock orders for off-the-shelf productsSet products up in our systems and track everything in our task management toolFollow our documented step-by-step processes for every stage, and improve them when you find a better wayWhat success looks like:More successful product launches, quarter after quarterLanded cost at or below target on every launchUncapped bonus As above: your bonus is tied to the performance of the products you launch, with no ceiling.
Full scheme terms are set out in writing as company policy and shared at offer stage.Must haveExperience in furniture: product development, design, buying, production or merchandisingA real passion for furniture and a strong eye: you know what looks good and how it fits together, and you can explain whyKnowledge of the US furniture marketCommercial and data-driven: you care whether a product sells, not just whether you like itCurrently an individual contributor (no direct reports) and happy to stay hands-onExperience in a founder-led business or a company of under 50 peopleA quick learner who is comfortable following detailed written processes.
