Class 2 Driver – Multi-Drop & Tramping Roles Location: Colchester, Essex Job Type: Temp-to-Perm Pay Rate: £17.65 per hour We are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for two separate vacancies based in Colchester. There are opportunities available for both multi-drop delivery drivers and tramping drivers. Role 1: Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver Pay Rate: £17.65 per hour Job Description Carry out multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to customers.
Follow planned delivery routes and schedules. Complete deliveries safely and efficiently. Minimal handballing involved , as the majority of goods are palletised. Complete relevant delivery paperwork and vehicle checks. Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach. Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Previous Class 2 driving experience.
Multi-drop delivery experience preferred. Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude. Role 2: Class 2 Tramping Driver Pay Rate: £17.65 per hour £30 daily tramping allowance Job Description Carry out planned deliveries and collections. Complete driving duties safely and efficiently. Stay away overnight as part of the tramping role. Follow delivery schedules and maintain accurate paperwork.
Complete vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is operated safely. Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Previous Class 2 driving experience. Willingness to stay away overnight. A reliable and professional approach to work. What We Offer Temp-to-perm opportunities for both roles. Competitive hourly pay. Additional £30 daily tramping allowance for the tramping role only.
