Role Description Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. The position is for a Music Production Expert - Punjabi, which is a contract role with a compensation of $15/hour. The role is remote, lasting up to 6 months, with a commitment of 20+ hours/week. Evaluate AI-generated music for musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.

Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics. Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI model performance. Qualifications Must-Have: Native or near-native proficiency in Punjabi, and the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.

2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer. Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening. Preferred: Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition. Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work. Broad familiarity with contemporary Punjabi genres, sub-genres, and artists.
