If so, consider applying for the position of High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for our local schools. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our local schools in Lambeth and Southwark as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The HLTA will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in a variety of tasks and activities, including lesson planning, delivering small group instruction, and providing support to individual students.
Responsibilities: Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons Lead small group instruction and provide support to individual students as needed Help to manage the classroom environment and promote positive behaviour Participate in professional development and training opportunities as needed Attend meetings and contribute to the planning and evaluation of the school’s curriculum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field Experience working in a classroom setting is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well as part of a team Valid teaching certification is preferred, but not required Benefits Working with REED grants you 24/7 access to a personal consultant who is an expert in Education recruitment.
