Host — NOWON Bushwick Location: 436 Jefferson Street, Brooklyn, NY 11237 NOWON Bushwick is looking for a warm, organized, and dependable Host to join our team. This position is specifically for our Bushwick location at the address above. We bring together Korean-American food, bold flavors, and thoughtful hospitality in a lively restaurant setting. As the first and last person our guests interact with, you help set the tone for their experience.

We’re looking for someone who makes people feel welcome, communicates clearly, and stays composed during busy service. Responsibilities Greet every guest promptly and warmly, and thank them as they leave. Manage reservations, walk-ins, and the waitlist using Resy. Provide accurate wait estimates and communicate updates to guests. Guide guests to their tables at a comfortable pace. Coordinate seating with servers and managers to maintain a smooth flow of service.

Track table availability, reservation timing, and seating assignments. Communicate allergies, special occasions, accessibility needs, and guest requests to the appropriate team members. Answer phone calls and provide accurate information about the restaurant. Keep the entrance, host stand, and menus clean and organized. Support the service team and complete assigned opening and closing duties. What We’re Looking For A friendly, attentive approach to hospitality.

Strong communication and organizational skills. Reliability, punctuality, and readiness to work at the start of each shift. The ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining calm and professional. Attention to detail and awareness of what is happening throughout the dining room. A team mindset and willingness to receive and apply feedback. A clean, polished appearance appropriate for a guest-facing role.

Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous restaurant hosting experience and familiarity with Resy are preferred.
