Host

We're looking for a warm, personable, and enthusiastic host to join our front-of-house team at Jack's 46th! As the first face our guests see when they walk through the door, our host plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, takes pride in their work, and brings a positive attitude to every shift. While we'd love someone with at least one year of hosting experience, personality, attitude, and a willingness to learn are just as important to us as experience.

We're more than happy to train the right person who comes in ready to put their best foot forward. What You'll Do Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive. Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists while maintaining an organized and efficient flow of service. Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth seating and guest experiences. Answer phones professionally and assist with guest inquiries.

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entrance. Handle busy periods with patience, confidence, and a positive attitude. Help create an atmosphere where every guest feels valued and taken care of. What We're Looking For At least one year of restaurant hosting experience preferred. A naturally kind, warm, and welcoming personality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Someone dependable, punctual, and professional.

The ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced restaurant. A team player who is willing to step in and help wherever needed. Someone who is receptive to feedback and eager to improve. A genuine interest in hospitality and providing excellent guest service. Availability for all four scheduled shifts. Experience with OpenTable is a plus but not required. Why Join Our Team?
