To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 891705 Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,848.95 Job Title Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown Location Morgantown, WV | Stepdown / Intermediate Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3×12 or 4×12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays with some weekends | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit setting with varying acuity levels, including patients who may present as Progressive Care or Telemetry-level in larger facilities Maintain a typical patient ratio of 1:4, with flexibility to 1:5 during emergencies Perform IV starts and monitor patients via telemetry; must be able to read telemetry strips Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR Adhere to unit scheduling expectations, including some weekend shifts; weekend block schedules (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon) may be considered Limit holiday time-off requests to no more than 2 of the 4 major holidays per contract Required Qualifications Active RN License in West Virginia or a Compact state (pending license accepted at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; at least 1 year in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and 2 years in a Stepdown setting preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be through the American Heart Association (AHA) Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry strip interpretation Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates residing between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience with Cerner EMR Previous travel nursing experience, though not required Comfort managing patients with varying acuity levels across Stepdown, Progressive Care, and Telemetry presentations Why Join Us Extension beyond the initial 13-week contract may be available based on performance and facility need Opportunity to work in a dynamic intermediate care environment with a supportive team structure To Apply for this Job Click Here
