To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 896002 Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,962.93 Job Title Travel RN – PCU / Progressive Care Unit (Nights) Location Henderson, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | On-call requirements apply Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric populations with a 4:1 patient ratio Perform cardiac rhythm recognition and manage cardiac drips including Cardizem and Amiodarone Care for patients with common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, and A-fib with RVR Document and manage patient care using the Paragon electronic health record system Float as needed to Med/Surg and ED/ICU overflow areas to care for PCU and lower-acuity patients Maintain ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment Required Qualifications Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement Preferred Experience / Skills NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification or experience PCCN certification preferred ICU experience and demonstrated competencies for higher-acuity float coverage Proactive, outgoing, and team-oriented approach to patient care Why Join Us Opportunity to work at a Joint Commission Accredited facility recognized with an “A” rating in the LeapFrog Hospital Safety Rating Gain experience in a comprehensive, high-acuity environment featuring one of the region’s largest and most advanced PCU and ICU programs To Apply for this Job Click Here
