Job Title: Insurance Authorization Specialist Job Type: Full-time All-In Hourly Rate: $4.50 Work Schedule: TBD *WE’RE ONLY ACCEPTING FILIPINO APPLICANTS Job Responsibilities: Provide Pre-Op instructions to the patient upon scheduling the patient Verify patient Insurance, obtain authorizations, and input insurance information into SIS Schedule transportation as needed per the center’s practices & notify the client if issues with transportation Contact clients Medical Record Audits as requested by the client General Data Entry & Data Collection as requested by the client Efax physician’s notes to dialysis units and referring physician’s offices Handle inbound and outbound calls Job Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Proficient in the English language, both verbal and written Understanding of medical terminology Must have 2+ year in a healthcare or medical billing office; experience in managing patient scheduling patients Must have 2+ years’ experience verifying insurance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors Experience in obtaining pre-authorizations and/or referrals from insurance carriers (preferred) Ability to Efax physician’s notes to dialysis units and refer physicians’ offices.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Worked in a healthcare setting and or medical billing office Strong communication skills as a liaison between the patient to client Must have a dedicated work computer or laptop Hardware and Software Requirements: Hardware: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G APU or Intel Core i5 (at least 7th gen) Intel CPU 16GB DDR4 RAM and 120 – 480gb SSD Jabra Biz 1100 / Logitech H390 or similar Noise-canceling Headset 1 – 2 Monitors (at least 21in) 1080p HD Webcam Internet Speed: 50mbps (Fiber/DSL) LTE not accepted Software: Genuine Windows Licensed Computer Microsoft Office Suite
