Internal Security Officer

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting company property, assets, employees, and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, conducting routine inspections, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with company security procedures. Job Summary Type: full-time Location: Georgetown Category: Security Closing Date: 2026-08-25 Key Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access and security breaches.

Control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles. Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any irregularities. Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and incidents. Prepare and maintain accurate incident and security reports. Enforce company policies and safety regulations. Assist in safeguarding company assets and property. Maintain a professional presence and provide assistance to staff and visitors when required.

Requirements Minimum of CXC subjects , including English Language and Mathematics . Previous experience in a Security Officer/Security Guard role is required. Valid security training certificate will be an asset. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required. Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies. Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities. Integrity, honesty, and reliability.
