EZEKIEL Clothing has an immediate opening for a Junior’s Associate Designer. This position is perfect for someone with a MINIMUM of 3 years Jr's apparel design experience, is comfortable with all categories of sportswear, and possesses a very strong sense of style. This position also requires candidates to have an intimate knowledge of the fashion market as well as the board sports market. The Junior’s Associate Designer will work directly with the Head Designer/Merchandiser on all Junior’s categories.
Major Responsibilities include: -Researching market and identify key emerging trends -Create seasonal direction boards consisting of color, fabric, trims and styling -Take designs from initial sketches all the way through technical renderings / specs -Comment on fittings with pattern maker -Manage research libraries -Management of Tech Packs Requirements: -Complete comprehension of apparel manufacturing process including design, fit, development, construction and production -Minimum 3 years Jr's design experience -Professional level Illustrator & Photoshop skills -Highly organized and motivated.
