Lead Data Scientist - Solution Architect

Responsibilities Serve as the architectural lead for complex data science, AI, machine learning, and forecasting engagements Design and guide the implementation of production-ready AI solutions using Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, and Databricks Partner with clients to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions Directly manage and mentor a Senior Data Scientist Consultant Lead client-facing discovery and requirement gathering sessions Provide technical direction on model design, algorithm selection, and deployment Support the development of Statements of Work and technical approach documentation Build and review predictive, statistical, and optimization models Ensure solutions are designed for long-term maintainability and scalability Requirements 10+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or AI Strong proficiency in Python for model development and production-level solutions Extensive experience with Azure-based data and AI technologies Experience with Spark and large-scale data processing Hands-on experience with PyTorch for deep learning Experience developing, deploying, and monitoring production-level machine learning models Strong foundation in statistics, regression, forecasting, and optimization Experience mentoring, coaching, or managing technical team members Ability to travel approximately 10% as needed to client sites Preferred Qualifications Master's or Ph.D.
