ORA Cafe is looking for a special hire to support our current operations, as well as support the imminent growth of our team, menu, and new offerings. Our ideal hire is a cook/Chef with at least 1 year restaurant experience, who is looking to build and grow with a team that they help develop. We are looking for a natural leader who is self-accountable, works well with others, and listens/communicates intentionally and efficiently.
The general responsibilities of this position are as follows: Entry/Mid level open-kitchen line cooking, with a strong sense of urgency and cleanliness (ORA - for now - is a fully electric kitchen, that incorporates real woodfire BBQ) Co-lead on register with exceptional customer service Lead expeditor on multiple food/beverage stations Minor food prep, dishes, and BOH organization Strict adherence to food safety and hygiene practices Consistency and punctuality Availability 20-30 hours / week, with potential growth MUST be available weekdays (ideally Mon-Thurs) MUST be available for opening shifts (7am start) Rate $20-$21 / hour + tips (avg.
$3-$5) Qualifications Desired 1 year customer service experience 1 year restaurant/cafe experience (ideally with brunch experience) Strong teamwork Positive and kind disposition
