Citizen is getting ready to open in Clear Lake, and we’re hiring PM Line Cook, Prep Cook and Porters to bring great food, dishes, and energy to our new dinner service. Start now! Train with our experienced team at Citizen of Montrose in Houston, learn our beverage program and service standards, then transition to Clear Lake as part of the opening team once the new location opens.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for experienced hospitality pros who are comfortable behind the bar and know how to keep the energy going during a busy service. You’ll be a great fit if you: Have 2+ years of BOH experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant. Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Set up and stock your station with all necessary ingredients before service Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures at all times Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining consistency and quality Assist with food preparation, inventory, and restocking as needed Ensure dishes are plated accurately and meet presentation standards Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment PM AVAILABILITY Evening / PM availability required Weekend availability required Full-time and part-time opportunities available Must be comfortable working busy dinner services COMPENSATIONS: Line Cook: $15 - $19 per hour Prep Cook: $14 - $16 per hour Porter: $13.50 - $15 per hour WHAT WE OFFER Hands-on training at Citizen of Montrose Beverage and hospitality training A spot on the Clear Lake opening team Supportive, high-energy team environment Growth and advancement opportunities as Citizen expands Love great coffee, great cocktails, busy nights, and creating the kind of atmosphere guests want to come back to?
