Marketing/Project Manager

We are seeking an exceptionally motivated, energetic, results-driven self-starter for marketing and project management in our Actions Sports and Adventure Travel Company. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of the action / adventure space, be equally passionate and creative and, above all, drive the positive perception of the company. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: # Develop grass roots marketing programs.

# Develop high impact/low cost Marketing Campaigns. # Grow company audience and brand awareness. # Develop project budgets and schedules. Manage staff and contractors to meet deadlines. # Helps to determine new, creative ways to employ teams on projects and distribute responsibilities. # Administer, review and recommend action on marketing campaigns, partnerships and third party syndication. # Select subcontractors for big-budget projects, maximizing profit without sacrificing quality.

# Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects. # Review high-level deliverables across multiple projects. # Serves as key participant in team and client meetings. # Effectively communicates relevant project/practice information to superiors and peers. # Evokes creative and innovative thinking from team to complete complicated project time-lines. # Great People Skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: # Online marketing experience. # Knowledge of viral marketing. # Experience managing projects, ideally with small task forces, commercial shoots, marketing campaigns or advertising accounts. # Strong Project Management skills. # Ability to define project management processes, tools and resources as required for the project. # Technologically savvy. # Possess Initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

# Ability to establish priorities and follow through on projects, with attention to detail. # Ability to expedite complex projects. # Ability to complete assignments under time constraints. # Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with staff, contractors and clients. # Professional level writing skills appropriate for correspondence, reports and action plans. Education: # Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in managing people and a proven track record of executing projects in a timely and efficient manner.

# Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams. # Experience with budget preparation and management.
