What You'll Do Author original, expert-level free-response engineering problems rooted in real-world industry scenarios Write comprehensive, expert-level solutions for each problem you create Validate question difficulty by testing against three frontier AI language models — problems must stump at least one Contribute to a high-quality benchmark that advances AI evaluation in technical disciplines Who We're Looking For PhD in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgy, or a materials-focused Mechanical/Chemical Engineering discipline 5+ years of hands-on professional or industry experience in areas such as materials selection, failure analysis, testing, or process development Background with well-known or blue-chip employers is strongly preferred Ability to craft nuanced, technically demanding problems that challenge even the most capable AI systems Why This Role?
