To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 897361 Job Title Registered Nurse – Orthopedic / Neuro Med-Surg Location Amarillo, TX | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 4×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 or 48 hours/week options available Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Neuro/Orthopedic Medical-Surgical unit Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical notes using Epic Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols Float to other units as needed per facility requirements Work required weekend shifts as part of the standard schedule Required Qualifications Active RN license – State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal BLS certification required NIHSS certification required All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible – local candidates will not be considered Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in a Neuro or Orthopedic Med-Surg setting Familiarity with Epic EMR First-time travelers are welcome to apply Why Join Us This unit welcomes first-time travel nurses, making it an excellent opportunity to launch or grow your travel career Flexible weekly hour options (36 or 48 hours) allow you to tailor your schedule to your needs To Apply for this Job Click Here
