To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 898199 Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,178.73 Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Location Sioux City, IA | Acute Care (Level 3 Trauma Center) Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite Key Responsibilities Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as a member of the interdisciplinary care team in the provision and management of patient care Provide direct nursing care to general medical-surgical patients with expected ratios of 1:4–5 during day shifts Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation, order management, and patient charting May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed Expected to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day) Required Qualifications 2+ years of medical-surgical nursing experience Active Iowa RN license or compact nursing license (must reflect Active status) Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted) Epic EMR experience required Valid Driver’s License required Skills Checklist specific to Medical-Surgical discipline required 1 Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years required Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver’s license address) Preferred Experience / Skills Heparin drip experience preferred First-time travelers are welcome to apply Why Join Us Opportunity to gain experience at a Level 3 Trauma Center in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment Overtime and call-back opportunities may be available for additional earning potential To Apply for this Job Click Here
