To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 866899 Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,077.89 Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Canton, OH | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting during night shift hours Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation Administer and manage medications safely, with competency verified via safeMedicate assessment during orientation Participate in holiday rotation, working at least every other holiday as scheduled Complete required annual hands-on competency and facility-assigned modules as applicable throughout the contract Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission Minimum of 12 months combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start Epic EMR experience required One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months, required at time of submission Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the same rate Preferred Experience / Skills Permanent specialty experience concentrated within a single facility or location Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation prior to start Experience working within a large health system environment Why Join Us Opportunity to work within a well-established acute care health system with a structured onboarding and competency program Contract extensions may be available for high-performing candidates, offering continuity and long-term placement potential To Apply for this Job Click Here
