Medical Biller/Collector

Position Overview: We are seeking a Medical Biller/Collector who is experienced in claims processing, payment posting, and insurance follow-ups. This role demands someone persistent, organized, and results-driven. 🔹 Key Responsibilities Submit and process insurance claims accurately and on time Handle claim rejections, denials, and appeals Follow up with insurance companies on outstanding claims Post payments and reconcile accounts Verify patient insurance and eligibility 🔹 Qualifications 2 years of proven experience in medical billing/collecting (US healthcare preferred) Strong understanding of insurance processes, EOBs, and AR follow-up Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented and organized 🔹 Preferred Experience with billing software and EMRs Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers Hardware and Software Requirements: Hardware: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G APU or Intel Core i5 (at least 7th gen) Intel CPU 16GB DDR4 RAM and 120 – 480gb SSD Jabra Biz 1100 / Logitech H390 or similar Noise-canceling Headset 1 – 2 Monitors (at least 21in) 1080p HD Webcam Internet Speed: 50mbps (Fiber/DSL) LTE not accepted Software: Genuine Windows 10 Licensed Computer Microsoft Office Suite
