To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 867907 Now Hiring: Mill Operator Location: Franklin, KY Pay: $16.00 per hour Shift: 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. If you have experience operating milling machines and take pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a safe work environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Core Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor milling machines, including CNC horizontal, vertical, and bar feed lathes, to cut, drill, bore, grind, and shape metal and other solid materials. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to produce parts within precise tolerances. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
Perform routine machine maintenance, replace worn tools and components, and keep equipment clean and in proper working condition. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Record machine settings, materials used, and production data for quality control and reporting. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding machine performance, maintenance needs, and production issues.
Qualifications Experience operating milling machines, preferably CNC equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Knowledge of basic machining processes and manufacturing safety practices. Ability to work independently while meeting production goals in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
