Millwork Estimator

Position: Millwork Estimator Location: Proximity to Islandia, NY Company/Industry: Well-established millwork shop Schedule: On-site, Mon-Fri Salary: Competitive, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate Type: Direct Hire with benefits Responsibilities: Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates Lead takeoffs, scope reviews, and bid strategy for millwork projects Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on scope and budget Mentor junior estimators and contribute to process improvements Qualifications: 5-8+ years of experience in millwork estimating Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and installation practices Proficiency in estimating software; Microvellum experience is highly preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and high-value bids Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $90,000.00 - $140,000.00
