This is a unique opportunity to shape the benchmarks and standards used to assess cutting-edge AI systems — drawing directly on your deep technical expertise.
About the Role This is research and evaluation work , not production engineering. You will define what "correct" and "excellent" look like across hard, expert-level problems in areas you already know deeply — including inference serving systems, kernel optimization, and large-model deployment infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Evaluate AI-generated solutions to expert-level ML inference and GPU kernel problems Author clear, structured technical explanations and detailed feedback Define quality standards and rubrics for problem domains you specialize in Work independently in an asynchronous, remote environment Required Qualifications Currently or recently active in ML inference, GPU kernel engineering, or large-model deployment — hands-on experience required Strong written communication skills; ability to produce well-structured technical documentation and evaluations Comfortable with self-directed, asynchronous remote work Meets the experience and education requirements outlined in the full job description Compensation: $100–$170/hr, depending on experience and specialization.
