MP&L Manager Position Job Overview: Plan, organize, control and direct all material control and logistics activities, including storage, product delivery, receiving materials, physical inventory, and packaging design. Develop and maintain an understanding of company and customer logistics requirements Lead forecasting activities for current and new products, including seasonal planning and market trend analysis.
Analyze forecasting deviations with cross-functional teams and identify root causes of forecasting errors. Develop continuous improvement processes for forecasting, demand planning, and distribution. Lead monthly meetings with Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams. Optimize replenishment strategies with internal and external supply chain partners within the Company Supply Chain Network. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to improve distribution and warehousing strategies and processes.
Lead inventory management activities, ensuring inventory accuracy and coordination with Purchasing regarding PO releases, production plan updates, and material planning. Key Responsibilities: Lead team to manage logistics (inbound, internal and external) requirements for new programs. Initiate improvements on logistics (inbound, internal and outbound) operations in current programs to achieve on time delivery and other customers' requirements.
Develop work standard/ Flow chart/ to support MP & L functions. Gathering sales information and cooperate with sales and marketing and purchasing for sales forecast and other related information. Create / establish computerize system which required by customers and monitors overall system integrity as it relates to electronic releases from customers to getting the shipping, change and delivery to customer.

Plans and organizes flow of materials into and out of warehouse and monitor inventory status to prevent shortage, also control suppliers to get parts on time and follow up 8D report from suppliers.
Coordinates with the ENG/Quality department concerning the quality and quantity of products for delivery, recycling and problem of product for delivery. Lead in process improvement and implementation on Lean Manufacturing concept based on Toyota Production System (TPS) including packing process, shipping and layout change. To conduct safety management to achieve company goals. When accidents occur, process all accident reports (8-D) in a timely manner (within 24 hours of occurrence).
To ensure that all work performed complies with IATF 16949 standard. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field Direct experience at least 10 years in Material Planning, Warehousing Control, Logistics Management and 5 years of management level experience in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of SAP , MRP, Logistics Management, and TPS concepts. Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Good command of technical English, both spoken and written. Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
