Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Bone Health (Hybrid: Telehealth + Lenexa, KS)
The Bone Health Clinic
Job at a glance
Remember why you went into medicine? This is that job. Most clinicians spend half their day on paperwork. Ours spend it with patients. As we expand, we are looking for clinicians who want to practice this way. Founded in 2021 by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Shannon Carpenter, The Bone Health Clinic is dedicated to increasing bonespan: the years your bones stay strong enough to prevent fractures and preserve independence.
We care for women and men from 35 to 95, across their entire bonespan. Every day, we help patients prevent fractures and age successfully. In 2026, Dr. Carpenter was named one of Ingram's Top 30 Doctors in Kansas City for her work at The Bone Health Clinic. She also received the Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation's Robert F. Gagel, M.D. Community Leadership Award for advancing fracture prevention and earlier bone-density screening, the first orthopedic surgeon to receive it.
