Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Part-Time / Per Diem)

Our practice in the Hicksville area is looking for a licensed, experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team part-time. You choose your hours, and we’re happy to offer evenings or weekends if you work a 9-to-5 elsewhere. Likely will start off 1-2 days a week and depending on your fit, can ramp up. 1099. What you’ll do Evaluate patients with various complaints, including history and physical exam.

Diagnose and manage acute injuries and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Build non-surgical treatment plans, including physical therapy referrals, bracing, activity changes, and other conservative care. Educate patients on their condition. Follow patients through treatment, track progress, and adjust plans as needed. Work closely with our physicians and with physical therapists and other specialists.

Document visits accurately and on time in our electronic health record. What we’re looking for A current New York State NP license and certification, or PA license with NCCPA certification. Confidence with physicals exams and reading basic imaging. Clear, friendly communication with patients and the care team. Organization and timely documentation. A second language, such as Spanish or Hindi is preferred but not required.

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
