To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 896211 Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,521.22 Job Title Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Location Urbana, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities Prepares the OR suite with necessary supplies, equipment, medications, and other required materials prior to each procedure Performs patient verification using two identifiers, conducts timeouts upon suite entry, prior to incision, and prior to exiting the OR suite Appropriately positions and preps patients for procedures utilizing positional aides and established guidelines Supports the surgical team throughout procedures by responding to requests for extra supplies, blood, specimens, cultures, medications, and dressings Transports patients to PACU or designated unit and provides structured handoff to the receiving RN Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care to support integration of information across the healthcare team Required Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of relevant nursing experience CVOR experience required Active Illinois RN License in good standing BLS certification through the American Heart Association required Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher Must be comfortable floating to the General OR as needed Preferred Experience / Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Level I Trauma experience highly preferred Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic cardiovascular OR environment with a skilled surgical team Gain exposure across multiple OR specialties, including General OR, broadening your clinical skill set To Apply for this Job Click Here
