We are seeking experienced CDL-A Over-the-Road (OTR) Drivers to join a growing transportation team. This position is responsible for safely transporting freight across state lines while ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining DOT compliance, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned OTR routes. Transport finished goods and raw materials between manufacturing, distribution, and customer locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance. Verify shipment accuracy and complete required delivery documentation using electronic logs and handheld devices. Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, and delivery schedules. Secure freight and inspect load safety throughout each trip. Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and maintain accurate driving logs. Load and unload freight as required.
Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL required. Air Brake endorsement required. Previous Over-the-Road (OTR) driving experience preferred. Current DOT Medical Card. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements. Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers in various weather and road conditions.
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug testing. Willingness to travel overnight and work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Pallet jack experience or certification. Experience using electronic logging devices (ELDs). Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sit for extended periods while driving. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Frequent walking, climbing, bending, reaching, and securing freight.
