What you will actually do: Examine cells and tissue samples to identify disease — the diagnostic judgments treating teams on client engagements act on Interpret the laboratory picture end-to-end: blood tests, smear tests and tissue removal, with flawless reading of findings and clear recommendations for further evaluation Advise healthcare professionals on client engagements about test selection — which investigations answer the clinical question actually being asked Skills that matter: Histopathology interpretation at consultant grade, Cytopathology including fine-needle aspiration cytology, Clinical-laboratory correlation across test families, Diagnostic test selection advisory, Multidisciplinary collaboration with treating teams, Diagnostic reporting with defensible clinical language.
