Job Requirements A Pediatrician is a medical doctor specializing in the care and treatment of infants, children, and adolescents. They provide comprehensive healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, monitoring growth and development, and advising on preventive care. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough examinations of pediatric patients to assess their overall health and diagnose medical conditions Administer vaccinations and immunizations to protect children against diseases Prescribe and administer appropriate medications for treatment Monitor and track patients' growth, development, and overall well-being Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans Provide counseling and guidance to parents or guardians on various aspects of child health and well-being Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work or X-rays, as necessary Stay updated on medical advancements and research related to pediatric medicine Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients Requirements: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school Completion of a residency program in pediatrics Valid medical license to practice as a pediatrician Excellent knowledge of child development and p Work Experience 1 - 6 years
