Lanie is looking for a full time permanent Personal Care Provider - Home Care NOC44101 for a child with special needs, in a private home during employment. Salary $24.50 per hour. 30 hours a week. 6am-9am and 3pm-6pm. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Located at Antrim, Avenue, Burnaby, BC, V5J 5K1 . Must have secondary education, related home support caregiving post secondary education or training required.
At least 1 year of caregiver experience. Home management experience required. First aid certificate an asset. Language at work is English. Duties include: Provide and supervise personal care, personal hygiene, assist in dressing child, Take child to and from school and to appointments, Tend to emotional well-being of child, Support social development, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision, Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Cook for child, Help child with homework, organize activities and outings.
