Physical Therapist

Job Title Travel Physical Therapist Location Margate, FL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Days | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for an assigned caseload of 10–13 patients per shift Provide gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities in an inpatient setting Utilize walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs as appropriate to support patient mobility and rehabilitation goals Document all patient care accurately and efficiently using the Meditech electronic documentation system Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, cohesive department environment Required Qualifications Active Florida Physical Therapist license required BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience Ability to manage a high patient volume and adapt quickly to unit workflows Preferred Experience / Skills Previous travel therapy experience strongly preferred Prior experience with Meditech documentation system Ability to hit the floor quickly with minimal orientation and function independently Why Join Us Join a highly engaged, positive, and cohesive therapy department known for strong teamwork and a supportive work environment Gain valuable experience in a busy inpatient setting with a well-established and collaborative PT team
