Physician Assistant – Family Practice

Our client in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 79-day assignment. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, including 30 minutes of administrative time. The successful candidate will focus on patient evaluations, medication management, and comprehensive charting. Responsibilities and Duties Perform patient evaluations Manage patient medications Maintain thorough charting Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension Address acute illnesses Provide behavioral health medication management Perform physical examinations Conduct patient follow-ups Collaborate with on-site psychiatric providers for consultations or complex behavioral health cases Additional Information Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) EMR: Nextgen Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only) Patient Volume: 10-17 patients per day LOA: 79 Days Staffing Mix: RN, psychiatrist, practice director, referral specialist Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
