This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead high-impact studies for utilities, developers, ISOs/RTOs, investors, and large energy users across North America.
You’ll manage complex technical projects, mentor engineers, support client growth, and help shape the future of a rapidly expanding consulting practice. Responsibilities Perform power system engineering and power system economic studies. Conduct power system market analysis and information gathering work. Perform independent steady-state, transient stability, and fast transient model development, analysis, results verification, and reporting.
Conduct and lead technical studies for generator interconnection including system impact, feasibility, and deliverability. Perform technical studies per ISOs/RTOs requirements and methodology. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 7+ years of experience in transmission planning, interconnection, grid studies, or power markets. Experience working with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, renewable developers, IPPs, or consulting firms.
PLEXOS, PROMOD, Aurora, GridView, or similar market modeling tools. PSS®E, PSLF, PowerWorld, PSCAD, Aspen, MATLAB, or equivalent. Power Systems Engineering, resource adequacy, market analysis, and grid resilience studies. Renewable energy, battery storage, and inverter-based resource integration. Why Join?
