What you will actually do: Build and maintain a strategic, comprehensive privacy program — policies and processes that define consistent, effective privacy practice across everything the agency touches Establish privacy governance jointly with the security and compliance officers: who decides what, on what evidence, and with what accountability Serve in the leadership role for privacy compliance — the seat regulations, clients and auditors are pointed at when they ask who owns this Skills that matter: Privacy program strategy and architecture, Privacy governance with security and compliance alignment, Incident and breach investigation and tracking, Risk assessment, mitigation and remediation, Consent, notice and contract-layer management, Access-pattern monitoring and anomaly detection literacy.
