Billabong USA is currently seeking a Product Developer | Merchandiser for Mens Boardshorts / Bottoms. Duties to include, but not limited to the following: *Work closely with Designers and Senior Merchandisers to develop Boardshort /Walkshort and Pant lines. *Maintain line plans for Boardshort /Walkshort and Pant lines. *Extensive communication with overseas vendors to make sure that new development and salesman’s samples are received correctly and on time.
*Complete production matrix for each style. *Handover of development to production department. *Review salesman’s samples /pre-production samples and make necessary comments. Key Requirements: *Experience with Import Production or Development a must *Must be Deadline Driven *Must be able to Multi-task and work in a fast paced environment *Pro-active with a solution/result oriented attitude *Must be MAC computer literate in Applications - Adobe Illustrator, Word, Excel, Outlook *Previous experience in the Action Sports industry a plus.
