Well know manufacture of connectors and cable assemblies for a wide range of applications and industries is currently seeking a development engineer for itu2019s R&D Department to conduct very specific design and development u00a0projects for industrial Hi voltage u00a0electrical u00a0connectors for the Oil & Gas Industry, to customer and industry specifications.rnThe Development engineer will u00a0work with Engineering Technicians, Project Managers, Machining and Assembly Operators and Laboratory Technicians to assure designs will meet product specifications and be manufacturable.
The development engineer u00a0is in charge of u00a0the design and development of connection solutions for High Voltage electrical connectors, for the Oil & Gas Industry that are used in severe environmental conditions (full immersion, hi-pressure, and hi and low temperature applications), to very complex and demanding requirements.u00a0 Will have full project responsibilities from the u00a0pre-project u00a0specification development phase, thru design and development to prototype testing, to guarantee that quality, cost and development deadlines are meet.; Building a strong partnership with R&D Departments of customers, and with all the members of the project team, to guarantee a high level of performance of the products.rnREQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALITIESu00a0 rnThe successful candidate will have at a minimum a B.S.
in Mechanical, Electrical or Materials engineering coupled with at least 3 years of experience in the design of connectors for harsh environment applications, specific experience with Hi-Voltage connectors and or cable assemblies preferred. Specific experience in the oil and gas industry preferred,experience with GD&T, CAD experience, Solid Works would be a plus. rnCompetencies: u00a0Creativity, and good capacity to communicate, and express oneself , Team Spiritu00a0
