Mytac Industries is an established private-label manufacturer/importer of technical sports clothing, bags & accessories. We design, develop, manufacture & import for our customers who are top branded companies in industries such as motocross, bicycle, street motorcycle, snowmobile, military, law enforcement etc.. Everything is manufactured in our Far East factories and imported into our Los Angeles warehouse.
This job is located in our Irvine offices (Spectrum). Who we are looking for: We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance/Control person who will assist the Production Manager with all aspects of running a busy Import Production Dept and including: • Building measurement spec sheets • QA procedures (incl 1st sample, lab dips etc) • Communication with overseas factories • Field trips to inspect goods after customs clearance in LA Job Requirements: • Knowledge of patterns, spec sheets and garment construction • Minimum 3 years experience working in a Production department • Minimum 1 year experience with Asia vendors • Strong verbal & communication skills and ability to get overseas vendors to perform • Proficiency in Outlook & Excel • “Take charge” and “can do” attitude • Good job references • Live local (Orange County) We offer excellent salary, great working environment, medical benefits, retirement plan and opportunity for growth.
