Job Title Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Location Aurora, CO | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive emergency department nursing care across a 50-bed unit Manage a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 in a fast-paced ED environment Operate and interpret EKG and cardiac monitoring equipment, as well as blood glucose devices Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, EMTs, and Medics Communicate clearly with staff and providers to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes Required Qualifications Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience BLS certification required ACLS certification required NIH Stroke Scale certification required PALS certification required TNCC certification required ENPC certification required Preferred Experience / Skills Level I or Level II Trauma center experience Stroke program experience Energetic, collaborative personality with strong interpersonal communication skills Why Join Us Join a well-staffed, experienced emergency department team with a collaborative and supportive work environment Gain valuable experience in a high-volume acute care ED equipped with modern cardiac monitoring and diagnostic technology
