Retirement Plan Administrator

Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000, depending on experience Type: Full-time, permanent (additional hours during tax season) About the Company We're an independent third-party administration firm that has delivered innovative retirement plan design and administrative services since 1979. About the Role As a Retirement Plan Administrator, you'll manage all aspects of plan administration for your assigned clients. You'll be a trusted point of contact for them and will work both independently and alongside a collaborative team. What You'll Do - Handle all aspects of plan administration for your assigned clients - Serve clients by phone and email - Interpret plan documents - Review employee data, determine eligibility, and reconcile contributions and assets - Calculate contributions and perform compliance testing - Prepare annual reports, including Form 5500 - Process termination distributions, loans, and hardships, and review Form 1099-R - Conduct regulatory and compliance research and report on your findings as needed What You Bring Required - Experience with Relius software (required for this remote position) - Working knowledge of current ERISA, IRS, and DOL rules and regulations - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Strong math, analytical, and/or accounting skills - Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, case management, and time management skills - A commitment to accurate, high-quality work - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Skill in building lasting client relationships - The ability to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred - ASPPA designation - College degree in Math, Business, or Accounting (though we welcome all candidates with relevant experience) - Knowledge of cross-testing and 401(a)(4) testing Why Join Us You'll be part of a small, dedicated team where your work is valued and your expertise makes a real difference.
