ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift Location Montlake, WA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shifts - 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical care float cluster, which includes various specialized ICU departments. The RN will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, ensuring safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols.
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU setting. Manage complex patient cases, including critical assessments and interventions. Monitor vital signs and conduct tests, interpreting results to adapt patient care as necessary. Administer medications and IV therapy as directed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families regarding health procedures and post-discharge planning.
Participate in care coordination efforts and quality improvement initiatives. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must possess an active RN license. Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CCRN preferred. Experience in ICP monitoring and management of ventilated patients preferred.
