Registered Nurse (RN) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel experience required. This role includes working night shifts and different nursing responsibilities within a dynamic healthcare environment. Shift Information Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday) No on-call requirement Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to a diverse population, including patients undergoing orthopedic and medical surgical treatments.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate care plans. Deliver telemetry monitoring as needed for patients. Participate in charge RN shifts as required. Float to different units as needed for support. Facilitate patient rehabilitation in the on-unit physical therapy gym. Patient Population The unit accommodates a range of patient populations: High volume: Patients who have undergone total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
Moderate volume: Patients requiring care for other surgical procedures, as well as inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients. Qualifications BLS certification required. Charge RN experience is mandatory. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with prior travel experience.
