On behalf of a client with offices in Luxemborug, we are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to take ownership of data migration activities across a major business transformation or ERP programme. The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end migration lifecycle, from strategy and planning through data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation and cutover. All candidates must be eligible to obtain SC Level security clearance (or have clearance already.
Project Scope:- Define and own the overall data migration strategy, approach and roadmap . Lead data migration activities across the full project lifecycle, from discovery through to go-live and hypercare. Assess legacy data sources, structures, quality and dependencies. Develop and maintain migration plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables. Lead data extraction, transformation, cleansing, mapping, validation and loading activities.
Define data mapping rules and ensure alignment between legacy and target systems. Establish and manage data quality, governance and reconciliation processes . Coordinate migration activities across business, functional, technical and third-party teams. Candidate experience: Significant experience delivering end-to-end data migration programmes . Strong experience working on ERP, CRM, HRIS or other large-scale business transformation programmes .
Proven experience with complex legacy-to-target system migrations. Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, cleansing, mapping, validation and reconciliation. Experience leading migration workstreams and managing technical and business stakeholders. Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles. Experience with migration testing, mock migrations and cutover planning.
