ABOUT CLIENT Our client is a leading technology company that specializes in creating innovative products for the mobile industry. JOB DESCRIPTION Develop, construct, and operate backend services for a leading B2B SaaS platform serving the construction industry. Establish an organized, maintainable, and scalable software architecture. Identify and address performance bottlenecks such as query optimization, caching, and asynchronous processing.
Uphold software quality with automated testing, code reviews, observability, and CI/CD practices. Validate AI-generated code to ensure security, accuracy, and maintainability. Provide guidance and support to engineers to enhance the team's engineering standards. Backend: Ruby (on Rails), Golang, Amazon Aurora (MySQL), DynamoDB FrontEnd: Nuxt.js, Vue.js, Next.js, ReactJS Mobile App: Kotlin, Swift, Flutter Deploy/ Build: AWS Amplify, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CircleCI, GitHub Actions Others: Swagger, Docker, Figma, Confluence, JIRA, esa, gRPC Infrastructure: Helm, Terraform Automation test: Autify, Magicpod JOB REQUIREMENT Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
8+ years of experience in backend development with a track record of designing, building, and deploying complex, large-scale, and high-traffic software systems using languages such as Go, RoR, Python, Java, C#, or Node.js. Proficiency in AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor and ability to verify the output for issues like hallucinated APIs, security vulnerabilities, and architectural fit.
Hands-on experience with observability platforms like Datadog, CloudWatch, and Prometheus/Grafana. Proficiency in Vietnamese and English for effective communication with Japan HQ and documentation. Nice to have: Experience with Go or Ruby (Rails); Microservices experience including service boundaries, gRPC/REST API design, message queues, and distributed transaction patterns; Cross-functional collaboration skills for effective communication with Frontend teams (React/TS) and DevOps teams (AWS/Kubernetes) to ensure end-to-end system reliability.
