Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and project plans. Plan work schedules and allocate labor, equipment, and materials effectively. Monitor project progress and report updates to the Site Manager or Project Manager. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct site inspections to maintain quality standards and identify potential issues. Resolve on-site problems and make decisions to minimize delays.
Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members. Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment usage, and site activities. Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials are available when required. Participate in site meetings and communicate project requirements to the workforce. Requirements Diploma, trade qualification, or equivalent experience in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5-10 years of construction experience, including supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations. Proficiency in construction reporting and project documentation.
