Responsibilities Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of data systems in alignment with business needs. Maintain data governance policies and best practices to enhance data integrity and accessibility. Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and performance bottlenecks, implementing effective resolutions. Lead mentorship and knowledge-sharing initiatives, guiding junior team members and conducting technical reviews.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending best practices and improvements. Ensure all processes, standards, and conventions are followed in data engineering workflows. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in: o SQL, NoSQL, Columnar databases o ETL tools (Talend, Camel) and scripting (Python, Bash) o Event-driven architectures (Kafka, Spark, Airflow, NiFi) o Data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions o Data protection, access management, and compliance Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
