Senior Estimation Engineer

As a Senior Estimation Engineer, you will not only be responsible for providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for joinery and interior fitout projects but also for leading and mentoring a team of estimators. Your leadership skills and technical expertise will be essential in guiding the team's efforts and ensuring the success of our project acquisition process.Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise a team of estimators, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.Review and assess the team's estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.Collaborate with project management and design teams to understand project scope and technical aspects.Source and evaluate supplier quotations to achieve cost-effectiveness and uphold project specifications.Prepare detailed take-offs, cost breakdowns, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities).Evaluate project risks and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.Participate in tender meetings and negotiations as required.Stay up-to-date with market trends, materials, and labor costs to maintain industry knowledge.Requirements:Minimum 10 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the UAE, with a focus on joinery and interior fitout projects.Proven experience in leading and managing a team of estimators.Strong knowledge of joinery materials, techniques, and production processes.Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office applications.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting tight deadlines.
